Given the history of The Amoralists, with their knack for out of the box presentations…. Their new offering is worth a look. Plus the fact that the ensemble consists of so many good looking actors!
This is a riveting detective noir centered around the Lang brothers. One with everything to lose. One with everything to prove. Both in too deep. Set in the basements, balconies and bars where secrets are whispered and revealed, join a group of local anarchists, law enforcement officials and political power players. All are waging war: against injustice, corruption and, ultimately, the people they love the most. A cautionary tale about the hypocrisy of extreme principles, The Bad and the Better explores the dangers of maintaining loyalty and protecting your family, whoever they are, at any cost. When it comes to the bad and the better, what’s the difference?

The show had some entertaining moments but went on too long, toward the end the people in the audience got rather restless (the house was maybe 2/3 full). The cast is huge, one of the leads is shirtless a couple times but that’s the extent of the nudity. There is off-stage sex and a scene where a secretary services her boss (under the desk).
