Out of state nudity: ANGELS IN AMERICA Part 2

Luigi Sottile as Joe Pitt

Part 2 of Tony Kushner’s ANGELS IN AMERICA is going on at The Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. This is the part where the Joe Pitt character unrobes in a beach, I believe is Fire Island.  Luigi Sottile plays Joe Pitt.  Now, he gets his turn to show off his body.  If he is your type, head on to Philly!

The Wilma Theater presents
Angels in America Part 2, Perestroika
by Tony Kushner
directed by Blanka Zizka
September 12, 2012 October 21, 2012

From the wreckage of an Angels dramatic descent from heaven which concludes Part One: Millennium Approaches, Angels in America forges ahead in Part Two: Perestroika. Everything in our world is changing. The AIDS epidemic is escalating, the ozone layer is under attack, and God has abandoned all of mankind. Amid this chaos, Tony Kushner creates a cosmic-scale portrait of America through now-legendary characters: ancient rabbis, Mormon housewives, neoconservatives, blind revolutionaries, closeted gay men, imaginary travel agents. Together, their lives intersect and get blown apart with both profound symbolism and brilliant comedy.

  1. Just saw the play this past weekend. Amazing cast and production! Be warned though that the second installment is 3 hours and 45 minutes long. The Joe Pitt nude scene is intact though the actor stands sideways during it. The best view is on the audience left. The audience right will only get a view of his butt, which is still pretty amazing.
