Linda Vista

Tracy Lett’s new play LINDA VISTA is opening soon on Broadway for a limited run. Lots of buzz not only because it is a funny play but from its nudity.

Three lead actors including Ian Barford get totally naked, not just to take a bath or get dressed, but sex scenes. Apparently, some theatergoers find it so extreme and the sex so prolonged that the actors can hear members of the audience gasp when it begins.

It is only for a limited run so better get your tickets!

From the press release:

Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award® winner Tracy Letts (August: Osage County) returns to Second Stage (Mary Page Marlowe, Man from Nebraska) with a brutally comedic look at Wheeler, a 50-year-old divorcee in the throes of a mid-life spiral. Just out of his ex-wife’s garage and into a place of his own, Wheeler starts on a path toward self-discovery — navigating blind dates, old friends, and new love. Full of opinions, yet short on self-examination, Wheeler must reconcile the man he has become with the man he wants to be.

  1. Saw this evening. Enjoyed the story about a 50ish man going through a mid-life crisis complete with hip pain (I could related to that!) The 2 simulated sex scenes were some of the most graphic I’ve seen on Broadway – unfortunately both heterosexual. Barford is a hot daddy and was fully nude in both of the scenes. You can see his medium size cock in the first scene and his nice ass in the second. Like “Slave Play” the set was dimly lit during the nude scenes but not quite as dim. Could not make out if Barford is cut or uncut. Again like “Slave Play” you will get a better view the closer you are to the stage.

    1. Thanks for the review of Linda Vista, fipines! I am curious to know more about the sex scenes. What made them the most graphic you’ve seen on Broadway? Was there any explicit contact between the actor and actress? Was the actor aroused? Thanks.
